Laura Owes Named Assistant Principal

We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Laura Owes has been appointed as the new Assistant Principal of Horizon Honors Secondary School, effective at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

For the remainder of the current school year, she will continue as the Science Mentor Teacher while also training for her new role and occasionally stepping into Assistant Principal duties.

Mrs. Owes brings over 22 years of experience as an educator, excelling as both a classroom teacher and a mentor teacher. Her dedication and leadership make her a valuable asset to our school community, and we are thrilled to have her in this vital role.
